Service Description
In this wonder-filled class, students will explore the skies above—from clouds and storms to stars and planets—through engaging unit studies that spark curiosity and discovery. Each month, we’ll dive into a new theme like weather patterns, the solar system, constellations, or extreme weather events, using hands-on experiments, crafts, movement, and stories to deepen understanding. Students will document the daily weather using observation tools and journals, learning to track patterns over time. Each week, a small group of students will lead a fun “Weather Update” broadcast for the class, sharing predictions, charts, and weather facts like real meteorologists. We’ll build simple instruments, model the moon’s phases, track cloud types, and learn how ancient cultures used the stars for navigation and storytelling. Outdoor observation will be a key part of the class whenever possible, helping students connect what they’re learning to what they see in the sky. This class blends science, creativity, and real-world observation—perfect for young explorers who love to look up and wonder.
