Service Description

Each day at camp is filled with adventure, creativity, and time outdoors. Campers enjoy unstructured outdoor play, time to engage with and hold our friendly pets, a themed read-aloud and lesson, and hands-on activities, crafts, or science experiments connected to the day’s theme. We also head out on a guided nature hike to explore and discover the seasons' plants and animals. At lunchtime, campers enjoy a break to refuel. Families should send a hearty lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day. After lunch, our youngest campers (ages 2–3) head home, and the adventure continues for older campers with pond and creek exploration where kids can fish, hike, play, explore, kayak, muck around in our creek or pond or relax in our hammocks. The afternoon wraps up with water play activities and games at the schoolhouse. What to bring each day: -Packed hearty lunch -Snacks -Refillable water bottle -Change of clothes -Towel -Campers should come dressed for outdoor play—lightweight, comfortable clothes that can get dirty, and closed-toe shoes (water shoes or old sneakers work great). -Please apply sunscreen before camp. You may also send labeled sunscreen and bug spray if you would like it reapplied during the day. *No swimming experience is required. All water activities are shallow, supervised, and adapted to each child’s comfort level. Life jackets are welcome and we also have USCG approved vests in a variety of sizes. *This is a screen-free camp to encourage connection, creativity, and outdoor play. *Camp runs rain or shine! On very hot or rainy days, we adjust our schedule with shaded play, water activities, and indoor crafts or learning time in the schoolhouse.
